We are extremely excited to announce that we have recently gained two new industry experts as part of our growing team here at C-Tech.
Introducing Rob Salthouse ‘Salty’, our newest member at C-Tech taking on the role of Tube Sales Manager and R&D. Rob has been in the marine industry for over 30 years, originally starting out as a young nipper in sail making. Sail making being the crux for his biggest achievements to date, he's competed in 4 laps around the globe in the Volvo Ocean Race, 7 America’s Cup Campaigns and 5 Admirals Cups.
Recently Rob finished his last ever AC campaign with successful defenders ETNZ as the Rig Construction coordinator and has previously been a project manager for Southern Spars - all amassing to his extensive understanding of composites at the highest level possible. Rob’s role entails being the middle man at C-Tech, understanding our customers needs and turning them into reality.
Our second newest member to the team is Riley Dean. Riley recently joined C-Tech as our Design Manager shortly after the 36th Americas Cup when he finished up with American Magic for his second AC campaign. He brings a wealth of experience and passion to our design team.
Riley has also been heavily involved in the development and design of the Bieker Moth. He is a fizz master and water sport fanatic. Most weekends you will find him either sailing his moth, surfing, kite/wing foiling or cruising the Hauraki Gulf. Welcome Riley and Salty!
